Picture Perfect

1, 2, 3, Cheese! The most exciting part of winning a local, state, or national show is capturing the moment! Everyone wants that perfect picture of their win at the fair, it is your chance to proudly display your awards, not to mention the animal you have worked so hard to raise! At Better AnimalsTMwe are thrilled to receive dozens of winners' pictures each month. It is a great feeling to win at a show, this is why we like to post your pictures on this website! Unfortunately, every picture we receive cannot be posted on the website if it doesn't meet our requirements. When you send in your pictures for the Show Chow® Top Performer Program and the Honor RollTM Awards programs, your picture needs to display the fair's name in the background, you, and your animal. Also, please do not crop out your animals' feet, legs, or any part of its body. This is VERY important. A 5x7 photo is acceptable in either glossy or matte finish. Normally, we prefer a 5x7 or larger photo. If the photo is too small, it makes it difficult to post on the Better AnimalsTM Website. We want everyone to share the spotlight, so the larger the picture, the better! The quality of the photo is another important feature to consider. Please do not mail in photos that are bent, black and white, very small, contain water spots or are blurry. We also prefer that you do not write on the back of your photo. It is always a good idea to take a second photo at the show or make doubles, because your photo will not be returned. All photos that meet the proper requirements will be posted on the Better AnimalsTM website. Please allow some time before checking on the Winners Photo section. Better AnimalsTM enjoys looking through all of the winning photos, and truly admires how hard you work to accomplish your goals at the show. Keep up the good work, and please continue sending in your 2007 wins for the Show Chow® Top Performer Program and the Honor RollTM Awards programs. Guidelines to Follow When Sending in Your Photos: *Photo is at least a 5 x 7, either matte or glossy finish *Show signage is visible *You and your animal are present in the picture *No part (especially the feet) is cropped off the animal *Photo is in color and good condition *Make sure your application includes: the winner's name, name and date of the show, location of show, and the award won
